Schlieren ImagingPIV / PTVSupersonic FlowLabVIEW
Experimentally investigating drag coefficients of particles in supersonic flow on a wind tunnel facility I designed and built at the Fluids and Imaging Innovation Lab, University of Toledo.
Developed the facility's experimental techniques, comprising Schlieren imaging for flow visualization and PIV/PTV for quantitative velocity field measurement, from optical layout through calibration and validation of results.
Developed the data acquisition and control system in LabVIEW: pressure and temperature instrumentation, automated valve sequencing, safety interlocks, and real-time monitoring, documented in specifications and test reports.
Post-processing and analysis of multi-modal experimental datasets using Python and MATLAB; correlating measurements against analytical and simulation predictions.
Designed and fabricated a link-and-spring mechanism enabling adaptive radial contact for self-centering navigation within variable-diameter pipelines; handled full design-to-build cycle from concept through prototype, including part selection and assembly.
Vehicle Chassis, Body & Powertrain Design: Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2022 (Team Junkiri)
Led the team's full SolidWorks chassis and body surface modeling for a fuel-efficiency competition vehicle; produced assembly drawings, managed the parts list, and coordinated the fabrication workflow through international competition in Indonesia, taking the design from concept to a running vehicle.
Retrofitted the vehicle's lawnmower engine with an electronic fuel injection (EFI) system in adherence to competition guidelines, and manually tuned it to run the engine at its most efficient operating state.
